Raw ingredientsWhat's the latest with the RAW craze you ask?  When you hear raw, you probably think of meat, eggs, or under-cooked foods of some type. The type of raw we are referring to is touted as the healthiest form of eating among most health food critics. When taking a food in its whole form and not subjecting it to processing, heat, or pasteurization, you don't destroy its nutrients and digestive enzymes. More and more people are realizing the benefits they feel in energy, digestion, and overall fitness and health when they try to eat a raw or or mostly raw diet.

Originally from Southern California, I was no stranger to health food and fitness. My Grandmother was a vegetarian and my mother, who is now a proclaimed "raw-foodist", taught me at a very young age the benefits of the vegetarian lifestyle. It wasn't until a year ago that I embarked on the vegan lifestyle. Upon my vegan venture, I discovered how delicious healthy raw desserts can be. Thus, I combined my passion for clean cooking and fitness to provide sweets and snacks that you can feel good about every time.
